Nordic Cadet Meeting (NOCA) was first held in 1948 in order to strenghten relations between the nordic countries and our armed forces after the second world war. Denmark, Sweden and Norway has been part of NOCA from the start and Finland joined in 1967. NOCA is held once a year, and is by turn arranged by the naval academies in Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway. During NOCA the academies will compete in six different sports, football, volleyball, swimming, cross-country running, naval combat course and tug-of-war. In addition to sporting events NOCA also consist of academic seminars and social events.
